Minerals
Minerals are important for all areas of health, from our bones to our brain. Minerals provide rigidity to our skeleton's structure, conduct electricity for our nervous system and muscles, balance our pH and more.
In human health, minerals are separated into two categories, major and trace minerals.
Major minerals are needed in amounts greater than 100mg and trace minerals are needed significantly smaller amounts. The major minerals are calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, potassium, chloride and sodium. All other minerals are considered trace minerals, including iron, zinc, selenium and many, many more.
